WHY PRAYING TO IDOLS IS SIN??

"தெளிந்த புத்தியுள்ளவர்களாயிருங்கள், விழித்திருங்கள். ஏனெனில், உங்கள் எதிராளியாகிய பிசாசானவன் கெர்ச்சிக்கிற சிங்கம்போல் எவனை விழுங்கலாமோ என்று வகைதேடிச் சுற்றித்திரிகிறான்."

    - 1 பேதுரு 5:8

வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது👇,
"... அவன்(பிசாசானவன்) பொய்யனும் பொய்யுக்குப் பிதாவுமாயிருக்கிறபடியால்...."
      - யோவான் 8:44
அவ்வாறாக, சாத்தான்  பொய்யை கூறி மக்கள் தன்னை வணங்கவும்,  ஆராதிக்கவும் செய்கிறான். இதற்கு அவன் பயன்படுத்திய மிக தந்திரமான திட்டம் என்னவென்றால், தேவஜனங்களை அவர்களுக்கே தெரியாமல் தன்னை வணங்க வைப்பது ஆகும். அதாவது, மக்கள் தாங்கள் இயேசுவைத்தான் வணங்குகிறோம் என்று நினைக்கவைத்து மறைமுகமாக தன்னை(சாத்தானை) வணங்க செய்வது..
இதற்காக அவன் சில தவறான நடைமுறைகளை சபைக்குள் கொண்டு வந்தான். அவை என்னவென்றால்,
🔹 இயேசுவின் Photos மற்றும் சிலைகளை வணங்குதல்.
இவை ஆதிக்கால திருச்சபைகளில் இல்லை. 3ம் நூற்றாண்டு வரை இவை இல்லை. சாத்தான் 3ம் நூற்றாண்டில் எப்படி இவற்றை திருச்சபைக்குள் கொண்டு வந்தான் என்பதை கீழே உள்ள Linkஐ தொட்டு பாருங்கள்.👇

சிலைகளை வணங்குவதை தேவன் ஆதிமுதல் வெறுக்கிற காரியமாகும்.
வேதாகமத்தில் தேவன் இவ்வாறு கூறியுள்ளார்👇
"மேலே வானத்திலும், கீழே பூமியிலும், பூமியின்கீழ்த் தண்ணீரிலும் உண்டாயிருக்கிறவைகளுக்கு ஒப்பான ஒரு சொரூபத்தையாகிலும் யாதொரு விக்கிரகத்தையாகிலும் நீ உனக்கு உண்டாக்க வேண்டாம்;

நீ அவைகளை நமஸ்கரிக்கவும் சேவிக்கவும் வேண்டாம்..."
-யாத்திராகமம்.20:4,5a

And

"நீங்கள் உங்களுக்கு விக்கிரகங்களையும் சுரூபங்களையும் உண்டாக்காமலும், உங்களுக்குச் சிலையை நிறுத்தாமலும், சித்திரந்தீர்ந்த கல்லை நமஸ்கரிக்கும்பொருட்டு உங்கள் தேசத்தில் வைக்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக, நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்."
-லேவியராகமம்.26:1

இவ்வசனங்களின் மூலம் சிலைகளை வணங்குவதை தேவன்  வெறுக்கிறார் என்பதை அறிந்துக்கொள்ளலாம்

நாமும் பல வேளைகளில் இயேசுவிடம் Prayer பண்ணுவதாக நினைத்து இயேசுவின் Photos மற்றும் சிலைகளிடம் Prayer பண்ணியிருந்திருக்கலாம். இனி அவற்றை விட்டுவிடுவோம்.
ஏனென்றால் இயேசு Bibleல் தெளிவாய்  சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்,
"உண்மையாய்த் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் பிதாவை ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும் தொழுதுகொள்ளுங்காலம் வரும், அது இப்பொழுதே வந்திருக்கிறது: தம்மைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் இப்படிப்பட்டவர்களாயிருக்கும்படி பிதாவானவர் விரும்புகிறார்.

தேவன் ஆவியாயிருக்கிறார், அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிறவர்கள் ஆவியோடும் உண்மையோடும் அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்றார்."
-யோவான் 4:23,24

"நாம் அவருடைய கற்பனைகளின்படி நடப்பதே அன்பு." என்று 2யோவான்1:6 கூறுவதுபோல் தேவனுடைய வேதசத்தியத்தை அறிந்த நாம் அவற்றின்படி வாழ்ந்து தேவனிடம் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் முழு ஆத்துமாவோடும் முழு பெலத்தோடும்  அன்பு கூருகிறவர்களாக வாழ்வோம்......
தேவனுக்கே மகிமை உண்டாவதாக ஆமென்.


"Be alert and of sober mind.Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."
-1 Peter 5:8

The Holy Bible says, "... For he (the devil) is a liar, and the father of it ...."
-John 8:44 .
Thus, Satan lies and makes people worship him. The most cunning plan he used for this was to make the children of God, worship him(the devil) without their knowledge. That is, making people think that they are worshiping Jesus and indirectly worshiping Himself (Satan).

Worship of idols is something that God hates from the beginning. God says so in the Bible👇

   “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
You shall not bow down to them or worship them;"
-Exodus 20.4,5a

And,

"Do Not Make Idols Or Set Up An Image Or A Sacred Stone For Yourselves, And Do Not Place A Carved Stone In Your Land To Bow Down Before It. I Am The Lord Your God."
-Leviticus 26:1

Through these verses we can see that God hates idolatry.

We too may have thought many times that we were praying to Jesus while praying to photos and statues of Jesus. Let's leave them. Because Jesus made it clear  in the Bible,
"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
-John 4.23,24

"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands.As you have heard from the beginning,his command is that you walk in love."
2 John 1:6.
As 2 John 1:6 says, we who know the scriptures of God have to live according to them and live as those who love God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our strength......
